Wraps Major Role in Indie Feature ‘The Devil and Miss Katz’ as (Maybe) the Devil
Plays a mysterious figure — maybe a teacher, probably Lucifer — marking his first major feature film role, in Erik Strentz’s dark workplace comedy.
Christopher Prentice has wrapped his first major role in a feature film, playing (presumably) the Devil in the fiendishly dark comedy The Devil and Miss Katz, by writer-director Erik Strentz. The indie is set to continue production into August.
Miss Katz, a frustrated English teacher, makes a Faustian deal with the Devil to get ahead. Prentice plays the mysterious presence who self-styles himself "Dr. Eckleburg," who may or may not be the Prince of Darkness himself, opposite Rosebud Harrison as Miss Katz. The ensemble cast also features Heather Marie Vitale and Joaquin Carrig.
The Devil and Miss Katz marks Chris's second feature, following his debut in director Adam Dick's Teacher, where he played (coincidentally) another English teacher.
