Fresh off an official selection screening of Paula Takes the Stage, filmmaker Eric Albert Branstrom has released the horror short June Below, the follow-up effort in his collaboration with Christopher Prentice. The film is now streaming on YouTube.

In June Below, Father Daniel Morgan is forced to contend with an unholy presence, causing an existential crisis of faith, and, bereft of options, he is compelled to make a horrific decision. Prentice plays Daniel opposite Brianne Buishas.

Produced quickly in a claustrophobic environment with a barebones team, June Below is a bruising theological tragedy that features Branstrom's trademark attention to genre and period style.

Paula Takes the Stage screened Oct. 4 in the 28th Chicago Horror Film Festival.

June Below is available now on the Slithery-Dee Films YouTube channel.
