Wins Festival Best Actor for ‘Stop’ at All Horror Shorts Fest
The unsettling short film screens alongside paranormal category winner “Look Out” at the Jacksonville festival.
The All Horror Shorts Film Festival announced its ghoulish laurels, with Christopher Prentice recognized with the premier acting honor: the festival-wide Best Actor award for his performance in the psychological horror short Stop.
The win marks a dual victory for Prentice and writer-director Kevin B. Chatham, as their first collaboration, Look Out, finished at the top of its category and was named Best Paranormal 5 Minute Movie.
Both shorts are expected to screen at the Jacksonville, Florida, festival Sept. 26.
This is the first official festival selection for Stop, and the short will continue its festival tour next month at the Chicago Horror Film Festival, when it will play alongside Paula Takes the Stage.
