Chris returns to Chicago Dramatists for a public reading of Scott Woldman’s new black comedy, Interrogation, on Saturday, March 14.
According to Dramatists: “When Ellie Kimbel’s boyfriend graduated college, his family threw a party to celebrate—a party Ellie attended. It was the last thing she ever did. Now everyone is a suspect, no one is innocent, and someone is a murderer.”
Commissioned and co-presented by The Artistic Home and directed by Scott Westerman, the cast also features Kathryn Acosta (Ellie Kimbel), Evelyn Gaynor (Vanessa Kimbel), Julian Hester (Kevin Harper), Allie Long (Reporter), Frank Nall (Bill Harper), Kathy Scambiatterra (Joanne Harper), Maria Stephens (Maureen O’Dwyer), Katherine Swan (Amanda Harper-Stone), Mark Ulrich (Deputy Griggs), David Vogel (George Stone), and Scot West (Jim O’Dwyer). Chris will read Doug Harper.
Part of the Saturday Series, the theater’s long-running play development program, Interrogation will be read on March 15 at 2pm. A suggested $5 donation will be accepted at the door. Chicago Dramatists is located at 1105 W. Chicago Avenue.
