Christopher Prentice has just started rehearsals for the 2013 Stratford Festival season, his fifth with the company, known as the largest repertory theatre company in the world. Prentice’s three-play track includes two shows at the intimate promenade-style Tom Patterson Theatre and one at the 1,100-seat proscenium Avon Theatre. At the Patterson, he will play Claudio in Measure for Measure, directed by Martha Henry, and Drury in Mary Stuart, directed by new Stratford artistic director Antoni Cimolino. Both productions open in late May. He will also appear in Othello, directed by Chris Abraham, at the Avon, which opens in August.
