Measure for Measure‘s sister and brother duo, Isabella and Claudio, will meet the public at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, August 16, at the Tom Patterson Theatre.

Carmen Grant and I are participating in this season’s Forum in a Meet the Festival event! It’s an informal Q&A for patrons to ask company members just about anything about the shows and performers themselves.

If you’re in Stratford, we’d love to have you join us.

To prepare your questions, here’s a few relationships Carmen and I are tackling this season:

  • We play the aforementioned sibling duo (possibly twins!) in Measure.
  • In Mary Stuart, Carmen understudies Seana McKenna as Queen Elizabeth, and I understudy Ian Lake as the Catholic fanatic, Sir Mortimer – an interesting relationship, to say the least.
  • In Othello, C. and I understudy the husband-and-wife “team” of Iago and Emilia, usually played by Graham Abbey and Deborah Hay. Not one of Shakespeare’s happier marriages…

Oh, I forgot to mention, tickets are free! So get up early, take a stroll by the Avon and come grill Carmen and me!

[UPDATE] A Facebook event has just been uploaded here.
