Break a Leg, the short dark comedy I shot last winter, is about to debut on the festival circuit.
The satire of the casting process featuring hopefuls of all types and alive-ness, written and directed by Adam Dick, will bow this month at the SF IndieFest in San Francisco and the Beloit International Film Festival in Wisconsin.
The film debuts in San Francisco at the Roxie Theatre (3117 16th St.) on Valentine’s Day at 2:45pm and plays again Feb. 17 at 7:15pm. It then travels to Beloit, Wisconsin, screening Feb. 21 at 5pm and Feb. 22 at 12 noon at Domenico’s restaurant (547 E. Grand Ave.) and Feb. 27 at 6:30pm at La Casa Grande (618 Fourth St.).
Break a Leg features Kate Black-Spence as Kate, Boyd Harris as Producer #2, Rory Jobst as Rory Jobst, and Christopher Marcum as Bob Masterson. I play Producer #1.
